As president of the Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation, David Bohn guides a Danbury, Connecticut, firm that manufactures a range of power plant equipment. His company designs and engineers industrial boilers and burners, as well as nuclear plant outage support systems and leak detection devices. David G. Bohn manages the
development of new products and drives sales into new markets. He guides a dedicated service division that installs new systems and provides maintenance solutions.

Mr. Bohn began with Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation in marketing and sales capacities. His performance eventually led him to the position of company president in the mid-1990s. He managed a transition from direct regional sales to a national sales network system. Since taking his current position, Mr. Bohn has significantly increased corporate yearly revenue and overseen the implementation of cost-saving operational efficiencies. He has also spearheaded growth through the acquisition of strategically placed firms, such as GN Electronics, which manufactures flame safeguard components.
